OnlyFans Model and Instagram Star Arrested for Stabbing Boyfriend to Death, Charged with Second-Degree Murder.
A lawyer for the model has confirmed that she has been arrested in connection with the stabbing death of her boyfriend. The model has two million followers on Instagram.
Attorney Frank Prieto confirmed that Courtney Clenney, who goes by the online name Courtney Tailor and is 26 years old, was being held. Wednesday afternoon, the Miami Herald was the first to hear from Prieto about the arrest.
Prieto told the newspaper that Clenney was being treated in Hawaii for post-traumatic stress disorder and drug abuse when she was taken into custody. No information was given about where exactly the arrest took place.
The Herald says that Clenney is charged with second-degree murder with a dangerous weapon. A database for Miami-Dade County courts does not yet have a case with her name in it. As of Wednesday evening, Clenney's name was not on any online list of people who were in jail in Hawaii.
In a short press release, the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office said that more information would be given at a press conference on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. The office of the prosecutor said that the case file would stay closed until around that time. The press release didn't name Clenney, but it did say that Christian Tobechukwu "Toby" Obumseli, Clenney's boyfriend of 27 years, was "murdered."
On Sunday, April 3, the Miami Police Department tweeted that Obumseli had died after being rushed to the hospital.
The tweet said that police went to 3131 NE 7 Avenue in Miami "because of an incident of domestic violence involving a stabbing."
"A preliminary investigation found that both Mr. Obumseli and the woman had gotten into a physical fight," the tweet said. "Homicide detectives are still looking into the case, along with the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office and the Medical Examiner Department."
At the time of the stabbing, the police did not name Clenney by name.
Ashley Vaughn, who reportedly knew the couple, told WPLG, "From what we've seen between them, we think Christian wouldn't put her in a position where she had to stab him to protect herself."
But a neighbor who said he had a clear view of the couple's apartment said he saw Obumseli try to hit Clenney a week before the stabbing.
In the TV station's report, a neighbor said, "I couldn't tell if he was swinging with his hands open or closed, but he was swinging at her."
Miami CBS station WFOR quoted Clenney's lawyer as saying that Clenney kicked Obumseli out of her lease before the attack because of "other domestic violence issues."

When Clenney will be sent from Hawaii to Florida is not clear.
